Social Care Nurses Lounge

Member of the South East Council
"Attending the Care Show as a panellist speaker to represent social care was an incredibly rewarding experience. It was an inspiring experience to all get to share our unique insights on key issues and highlighting the importance of continued learning and resilience in the face of ongoing pressures in the health and social care landscape. Having the opportunity to listen to and speak with professionals across the social care sector reminded me of the power of collaboration and innovation in shaping the future of care. I'm proud to have contributed to such an important conversation and look forward to continuing this vital work."
Patricia Conteh - Head of Clinical Services, Prestige Nursing & Care

“The RCN Foundation had a brilliant time at the Care Show connecting with Social Care Nurses to discuss our work and the support that we provide across education, research and hardship. It was also great to have Professor Claire Pryor, RCN Foundation Chair in Adult Social Care Nursing, join the event and talk about her new and exciting role!”
Dr Sarah McGloin – Head of Grants and Impact, RCN Foundation

Co-Chair of the North East and Yorkshire Council
"It was lovely to see so many people interested in social care and what we have going on in SCNACs. As well as being able to cull some myths they may have about working in Social care and raise the profile of our wonderful sector"
Karen Roberts - Head of Health and Clinical Governance, Lifeways

Co-Chair of the East of England Council
"It was really uplifting to meet so many people interested in the work of SCNAC’s and how they could become involved in their regional councils and well as being able to signpost Nurses and Managers to support for further development and learning with our partners. The enthusiasm was high and fantastic to be a part of."
