At the end of last April, Ashfield Services proudly exhibited at Care Show London for the first time, joining care providers, healthcare professionals, and industry leaders at one of the sector’s biggest events.
Across two busy and inspiring days, our team had the opportunity to reconnect with familiar faces, meet new organisations, and take part in meaningful conversations about the realities of care delivery today.
Discussions throughout the event highlighted key challenges facing the sector, including workforce pressures, compliance, delegated healthcare responsibilities, and staff development. Despite these challenges, one thing stood out clearly: the shared commitment to improving outcomes for both care providers and the people they support.
For Ashfield Services, Care Show London was far more than an opportunity to showcase our training and support services. It was a chance to listen, learn, and strengthen relationships across the sector.
Meaningful Conversations and New Connections
Throughout the exhibition, there was strong interest in Ashfield’s services, particularly around Oliver McGowan Training, Delegated Healthcare Activities, and clinical training for domiciliary care providers.
Many visitors were looking for practical guidance and tailored solutions to help navigate increasing pressures across healthcare organisations. Conversations regularly focused on ensuring staff feel confident, competent, and equipped to deliver safe, person-centred care.
One of the highlights of the event was reconnecting with existing clients who shared positive feedback about their experiences working with Ashfield Services. These conversations reinforced the impact that high-quality training and support can have across the sector.
Understanding the Challenges Facing the Sector
A key takeaway from Care Show London was gaining further insight into the priorities facing healthcare providers today.
Recurring themes included workforce shortages, increasing clinical responsibilities, preparing for CQC inspections, and the ongoing need to upskill teams in a rapidly evolving care environment.
These discussions reinforced the importance of accessible, practical training that supports organisations not only with compliance, but with building confidence and capability within their teams.
There was also a strong sense of collaboration throughout the event, highlighting how much can be achieved when organisations work together to deliver outstanding patient-centred care.

A Proud Milestone for Ashfield Services
Exhibiting at Care Show London marked an exciting milestone for Ashfield Services.
The event allowed us to strengthen our presence within the healthcare sector, build new relationships, and demonstrate how Ashfield can support organisations through bespoke training, consultancy, and delegated healthcare support.
Most importantly, it reinforced the value of connection within the sector and the importance of events like Care Show London in bringing the healthcare community together.
Looking Ahead
Following such a positive experience, we are delighted to share that Ashfield Services will be exhibiting again at both Care Show Birmingham and Care Show London in the future.
To everyone who visited our stand and took the time to speak with our team, thank you. We look forward to seeing you again soon.
