The integration of NHS numbers with Social Care data marks a significant advancement in the quest to better understand and improve infection control in care homes. This approach not only enhances the immediate response to infections but also contributes to long-term improvements in care quality and resident outcomes.

This is where The VIVALDI Social Care Project comes in.

By utilising partnerships with Nourish, Person Centred Software and now also Camascope there is almost zero work after project initiation, for care providers to help researchers to learn more about how infection prevention in care homes.

The innovation of social care being able to share anonymised NHS numbers with researchers marks a significant advancement in the quest to improve infection control in care homes.

By leveraging the power of data, we can make informed decisions that protect the health and well-being of care home residents, ultimately shaping a safer and more resilient Social Care sector.

We’ve already signed up care homes in 39 of the 42 ICBs across England.

The latest Care Provider to sign up is Four Seasons Health Care Group.

Four Seasons were part of the Original VIVALDI study during the COVID-19 pandemic (One of the reasons it was named VIVALDI in fact) and have now joined the new VIVALDI project too.

Operating under the Four Seasons Health Care and brighterkind brands, Four Seasons Health Care Group has 50 care homes across the UK, caring for nearly 3,000 people. They provide long-term and respite residential and nursing care for older people and are an award-winning, sector leader with an innovative approach to specialist dementia care.
