Victoria is a Registered Learning Disability Nurse who has worked in the sector for 25 years across various settings, including inpatient and social care services in the UK and New Zealand.

Victoria is the Clinical Director for an Independent Health and Social Care provider for Mental Health and Learning Disability covering Herts, Cambs and Beds.

In addition to her Clinical Director role, Victoria is an ADIR/ADOS assessor, Steering Group member (representing mental health) for the East of England Clinical Audit and NICE Network, and a Trustee of Wooden Spoon Charity – the children’s charity of rugby. 

Victoria is particularly interested in physical health care in Mental Health/Learning Disability services and achieving parity for residents through increasing skills and training for staff and collaborative MDT working.

Championing the role of Social Care nurses as members of wider MDT’s and as a positive career pathway for Newly Qualified colleagues is a passion of Victoria’s, which she hopes to support further with her role with the SCNAC.
