As the colder months approach, I want to share the below Risk of Hypothermia message and the core Preventive Risk Assessment I have developed.

I routinely circulate this at this time of year, every year, to remind the team of the risks associated with dropping temperatures and the measures we must take to prevent the risk.

The risk assessment has been specifically designed to prevent hypothermia in older adults living with dementia and to reduce the risk of serious harm or death. I am sharing it for your reference please feel free to use, share, hope it is helpful, or disregard it as appropriate. Craig Priestly
