Early access to GO Online for The Outstanding Society members.

GO Online is a major new interactive resource from Skills for Care aimed at supporting regulated services to deliver good and outstanding care.

Members of The Outstanding Society are being given the opportunity to receive early access to GO Online’s Inspect section from November 2021, two-months in advance of our public launch.

About GO Online

GO Online is an evolution of Skills for Care’s Good and outstanding care range.  It is a new interactive resource informed by regulated provider feedback that will provide easy access to Monitoring and Inspection guidance and advice.

We wanted to introduce a practical tool that could be shaped around the latest good and best practice, helping services to meet and exceed CQC expectations.

For new services, the Begin section provides a list of steps to undertake to when setting up a new service to swerve some of the obstacles and maximise the opportunities of starting a new organisation.

The Prepare section helps raise awareness of the CQC Monitoring and Inspection process, including how you and your teams can be best prepared.  It is aimed at new managers, quality and compliance leads and other team members who may be less familiar about what happens at inspection and leading up to it.

An Improve section is for those services that have fallen below CQC standards or feel that they are at risk of doing so. It shares insight from our Guide to improvement and how to handle concerns and complaints, as well as new virtual learning covering the practical steps to follow.

The Excel section is dedicated to outstanding care and combines case studies, films, and spotlight on best practice from The Outstanding Society and others leading the way.

Inspect section

The most comprehensive section of GO Online though is Inspect.  This is shaped around what the CQC look at as part of their Monitoring and Inspection and includes associated recommendations informed from inspection reports.

The five Key Questions are split into sub-sections providing insight into what inspectors may look for evidence of.  Each sub-section includes an introductory film, practical examples from services meeting the CQC standards and a range of resources that can help.

All content is shaped around the current CQC Assessment Framework but will be reconfigured next year as and when new changes are introduced.

Early-access to GO Online: Inspect section

Whilst the full GO Online resource is being prepared for January 2022 release, we welcome the opportunity for Outstanding Society members to have access the Inspect section.

The most recent Outstanding Society webinar provided a sneak peek of our Inspect section which members have the option to access later this month.
